I've tackled a few small fixes on my own, but the hardest job I ever tried was replacing a trigger assembly. It took patience, the right tools, and more than a little trial and error. In the end, I learned a lot but definitely gained respect for skilled gunsmiths. What about you, what's the most challenging gun repair you've ever attempted, and how did it turn out?

I'd say assembling an AR stripped lower...the 1st time.
After the 1st one was done, I instructed my son to build the next one..easy, once you've done it once.
I find this true for most things...it's only hard to do the 1st time.

Totally! the first time is the hardest...pins and springs can be tricky. Once you've done it, it's easy, and showing someone else makes the next build even simpler
