Killed a nice Doe this morning. Been a tough season so far here for me. Lots of nice big Does but most have fawns. I try not to shoot the Does with fawns. The solo Does all have been out of range so this morning that changed. Had a couple opportunities and cashed in on one. Buddy killed this Big Buck here in the county a week ago or so. One of the biggest I've ever seen here where I live.

Nice job! Waaaay too many does around. Apparently, our great DNR in this state don't have a clue what they're doing when it comes to culling the doe population. Your buddy got himself a nice older buck. Congates to him.

Well down below your definitely stocked with Does. We have a bunch too but not like SLP. They still need managing. We do our share here on our lease but not enough people kill them. Many would rather shoot a year old buck. What do you do ?

Yep. You got that right. I just don't get it.
