These are great little gun shop in the town of Ortinville call Hunters InSight, they have, in stock, a very large selection of powder, primers, bullets and brass.
Their a stocking Dillion dealer along with other brands and suppies, their also a licensed ammo mfg.
I've been buying from them for years. And it's definitely well worth a look.

Have you checked their prices compared to online? You might be surprised by what those smaller shops offer, especially when you take into account things like hazmat fees and shipping costs for powder and primers.

Checking online suppliers, some like American Reloading , include shipping & hazmat on the primers & powders.

Do they carry Goex black powder and percussion caps?

IF you're looking for BP supplies, there's a shop that specialized in BP items,
called "Flint & Frizzen Gun Shop" in Clarkston.
Just google 'em for # to check if they have what you need..

I'd be surprised if they didn't..

Well, ok. I tried to reach them a year ago, nobody answered the phone. Google resulted in 404 errors. Facebook shows a bunch of furniture for sale. So I tried Google again - got a never ending round of 'prove you're human' and 'allow' prompts. Are they actually open?

Edit: Now I'm getting virus warnings from my Malware client. My computer is now infected with a virus. Thanks.

In honesty, I haven't visit that shop in a few years..
I used to drive past it when heading north, to Williams Gun Sight to browse, often it was just a place to ride to on one of my m/cs.
They had an old armored vehicle ( (WWII surplus ? ) in front of / beside the shop..was an eye catcher.
I own a couple of BP rifles that I rarely shoot, but I have stopped in, just to look around.
Old guys ( like me) shop has an old shop feel to the place, so different from visiting a newer, more modern " box store".
The place has been in business for as long as I can remember..I visited there after an old friend told me about them.
I .think I needed percussion caps ( ?) Anyway this was in the late 80's , so they've been in business that long.
Currently ? Can't honestly say. As I remember the owner was named Bruce..

I'm going to try to get over there this weekend sometime. They have no internet presence - the web site is virus infected and the Facebook page is a furniture sale. Maybe it's just a lack of electronic resources. They wouldn't be the only black powder retailer that's not a web headliner.
