Looking at replacing my add-on wood furnace with a wood-coal furnace, looking for suggestions, so far I'm looking at the Amish made Kozy King from D S, just doing my research and would welcome any input
I have. I have a Shelter Wood/Coal add on furnace. It uses either. I have tried it in the past and find it works fine. Provides more heat but I really don't need anymore heat than I currently have using wood. It's more expensive in my case than wood. I burn 36" logs that are around 12-14" in diameter. I might use coal if the temps get below zero for long periods over night where I can run a half a bag per night to keep the heat longer.Looking at replacing my add-on wood furnace with a wood-coal furnace, looking for suggestions, so far I'm looking at the Amish made Kozy King from D S, just doing my research and would welcome any input
