Thoughts on AmmoSeek.com?

I've used AmmoSeek.com a few times, and I have to say, it's been pretty handy for comparing prices. I was in the market for some .223 ammo and found a couple of retailers offering it at decent prices. The site works well for getting an overview of what's out there, but I've learned to double-check the sellers' ratings and reviews before committing. There are a few sketchy sites linked, so it pays to be cautious. Overall, I haven't run into any major issues, but my advice would be to do your homework—don't just trust the price you see. Good resource, but like anything else, a little diligence goes a long way.

Alan, good advice. I've used Ammoseek a lot, not for buying any ammo or components, but for learning the "going rate" for both. As with most online stores, You must take shipping costs into account before placing an order. Some places offer a low price, then make up for it by having high shipping or handling costs.
