I'm looking for a budget-friendly scope for deer season that can handle the elements and stay zeroed in. I'd appreciate any recommendations from those who've actually used a scope under $300 in the woods. What has worked for you?
Don't know what kind of scope you are looking for (AO, SF, 30mm or 1" tube, Obj. size, etc.) but if you're looking for a run-in-the-mill scope, say a 3-9x42 for example, for just hunting and want to stay around the $200 +/- price point, check out the Mueller scopes. Fantastic scopes for the price! Great glass, tough, great tracking turrets, etc. Very hard to beat at the price you're looking for.
