Absolutely. Purchased my second one about a month ago. ELR 4-24x50 Eagleman Reticle. Elevation turret is huge for us with "Older Eyes". I have Nightforce scopes and this specific scope has better quality glass than my NXS does. Can't speak for the ATACR which is better than the NXS glass

I haven't used their LR scopes yet, but I did put a 22 FIRE 4-12X40 AO Extended Focus Range T-PLEX Dot on my .17HMR. Great scope for around $300.00. I had a minor issue with the first one I ordered and sent them an e-mail around 9p. about 30 minutes later I got a phone call from Jon! He took care of me right away and sent me a new scope. FYI - Both Jon & John are former Nikon employees, and their TRACT scopes use the same glass/facility that Nikon used before they got out of the scope business. Pity because I loved their Monarch scopes.

Tract uses glass from their own supply chain. It's Schott German Glass. Nikon used glass from Japan which was excellent glass but not the level of Schott glass. I still have a couple LR Monarch scopes. Tract does have excellent customer service. No middle man either. You deal with the two Johns.

That's it! Schott. You just rattled something loose in my head. It's all coming back to me now.... LOL

I recently bought a MEPOTA (Optika5) scope for my KIDD 10-22. Also a great optic at a less expensive price than some of the 'higher end' scopes. Mepota also uses Schott glass in their scopes. They are a Czech company and some way or another, affiliated with Zeiss optics. Or is it Schott that makes glass for both Meopta and Zeiss? Maybe that's it. Either way, great glass!
