Agree on that size issue as wellI had a P220 (and a P226) quite a few years ago. I use the P220 in a 3-day pistol instructor course. Went through almost 1500 rds. and not one malfunction of and kind. Too big of pistol for me for CCW. Loved both pistols, though. Nowadays it's a Sig P238, M&P Bodyguard or M&P Shield 2.0.
Nice set ups. I carry the G29's bigger brother the G20 for out West bow hunts. Little heavier rounds but obviously for quadrupeds not bipeds. The 135s are great loads for the 10mm. Speed kills. Love the Ruger LC 45 acpI've been carrying a Glock 29 10mm compact virtually every day for many years. I use Double Tap 135 grain HP, 11 rounds in the gun, with one 15 round G20 mag for a spare.
A couple weeks ago I picked up a used Ruger LC Carbine in 45 ACP (I wanted it in 10mm) but the deal was too good to pass up. So it's in a discrete carry backpack along with my Glock 21 and extra magazines for backup.
These are interesting firearms, they function very reliably, and fit within an interesting set of regulations.

It's a folder, and has a 16.25" barrel, and per ATF is a rifle, however because it folds to under 26" it MUST be registered as a pistol in Michigan. This allows a CPL holder in Michigan to carry it as any registered pistol can be carried in Michigan.
I've always preferred light and fast for most applications, but for penetration heavier at as fast as possible is a must!Nice set ups. I carry the G29's bigger brother the G20 for out West bow hunts. Always had a soft spot for the Glock 29 so I totally understand where you’re coming from. That little 10mm powerhouse really is nice, and using Double Tap 135-grain HPs gives you a lot of confidence for EDC. Your setup with the 11+1 and the G20 mag as a backup is honestly one of the most practical 10mm EDC configurations I’ve come across. Stashing it in a discreet backpack along with the Glock 21 and an extra mag is a smart, well-thought-out arrangement. It’s the kind of combo that makes you feel like you’ve got all your bases covered...I've been carrying a Glock 29 10mm compact virtually every day for many years.
