No need to worry since it's a Toyota! That looks too nice to be banging around through the woods in!
The tire thing really made me laugh because I've seen the same thing happening. So many trucks come off the lot with “A/T” tires that wouldn’t stand a chance in a gravel pit, let alone on a muddy logging road. It sounds like your F150 suits your lifestyle right now, and that’s what really counts.Lots of variables on defining "Ideal" truck for hunting. I needed a one ton truck for hauling my truck bed camper to get me where I wanted to camp/hunt. Half ton or mini truck wasn't an option. 4x4 is a must of course and a one ton truck wouldn't be my first choice if I didn't need it. Sold my super duty truck, camper and trailer and bought a new F150 last December. Ideal now means truck cap for doubling my gear and keeping it dry. Also adding "All Terrain" tires replacing the factory "All Season" ones. Funny how truck tires have changed over the years. All Terrain got a name and description change on new trucks these days. I suspect because they improve the road ride and fuel economy. Either way, this new truck doubles as my hunting truck with my boat and other trailer tow truck and off road hunting truck.
I think A/T, aka: All Terrain. in Michigan means, Concrete, Asphalt, and groomed Dirt roads....lolThe tire thing really made me laugh because I've seen the same thing happening. You really don’t have to step outside when you have this! All you have to do is to run over those deersI am restoring an Arrowpointe / AV Technology Dragoon 300 as an extreme RV for off road camping and hunting. It is fully armored (handy in bear country) amphibious 4x4 with Detroit lockers front and rear, a Detroit 6V53T diesel and Allison MT653DR transmission, the tires are run flat radials on combat rims. Produced locally in Shelby Township, Michigan. This particular vehicle is very historically significant, as it is serial number 1, the first prototype that was built. Anyone having interest in or information on these vehicles, or know anyone that worked at AV Technology are welcome to contact me.
Happy hunting!
It also has hatd points for various MG's and gun ports on both side and rear doors. In that way it's like driving your blind to wherever you wish it to be. And being amphibious, fishing is a possibility too! Highway mileage is a little low, but it will do 72 mph.You really don’t have to step outside when you have this! Agreed. MT if you really want an aggressive off road tire. Let's face it tho, 99% of truck owners never see off road conditions. I guess I don't consider dirt roads or two tracks, off road.I think A/T, aka: All Terrain. in Michigan means, Concrete, Asphalt, and groomed Dirt roads....lol

72 is actually good though. Considering the size.It also has hatd points for various MG's and gun ports on both side and rear doors.
