I’d choose my S&W 622 without a second thought. Every time I take it out, it brings back all the reasons I adore it. It’s light, smooth and fun to shoot plus it’s more accurate than it has any business being. This gun doesn’t need to show off thought. It just consistently proves itself on every range visit.
I bought a Remington 700 CDL, SF in 7mm Mag last year. Wanted a rifle in that cal. as I had inherited brass, bullets & dies already for that cal.
Hadn't heard of a CDL..I Had a 700 ADL in 30-06 for many yrs. & was aware of the difference between it an a BDL.. but A CDL was new to me.
Guy had a like-new 700 CDL, SF in 7mm Mag posted FS on a local forum . so I looked @ it. All SS (which I like) beautiful wood stock, & fluted barrel..I ended up taking it home with me. After shooting it & being impressed with the trigger, read about the CDL on Rem's website. Discovered it has a Timney trigger..
