There's nothing more fun than a whisper quiet .22, I have a CZ455 with a 16 inch threaded barrel. I'm using the AB "little bird" suppressor, its whisper quiet,
and weighs only two oz's, the diameter is really close to the barrel itself, and only adds another six inches, it looks like I just have a bull barrel on this rifle, believe this thing retails for about 349. from the Gun Barn in Otisville, One of my favorite rounds to shoot is Winchester's, 42gr. Subsonic with the large hollow point, extremely accurate and deadly on red squirrels.
i occasionally switch to my suppressor ready browning buck mark pistol, love to shoot the CCI's 45 gr. quiets, made for the semi-autos, talk about something fun, i would compare the noise level to something like a Daisy Cub bb gun. very hard to beat. Also have a suppressor ready Anschwitz 1517 thumbhole in 17 HMR. that works very well with ABs little bird.
Sitting on my deck with a good cigar, there's nothing better as I wait for the enemy to appear, the red squirrel
