Good to find forum like this. Anyone else from Dearborn?

I'd really love to know your take on lending out firearms. Is that something you guys do, or do you usually stay away from it?

I grew up in the Northwestern most section of Livonia (% mile/Newburg area) when it was mostly farmland starting to be developed. My family moved there from Detroit in 1960. Thank God for that!

Look at my reply on your other post regarding you letting your cousin use one of your handguns. My same answer applies to this one.
I wouldn't lend out one of my hunting rifles let alone a handgun. Not to a friend or family member. That's just how I feel about it. You do what you want.

might be safer for all involved to sell them one ( following all laws) at a low price, or if they're a good friend, gifting them one.

Born and raised in Dearborn. Sure glad I'm not there today. Moved out of the concrete jungle well over 30 years ago to the north. Haven't looked in the rear view since. I own my guns and don't lend them out. Not a practice I'm fond of. When my guns get passed into someone else's hands, it's because I handed them down to kids or grand kids to keep. I've been doing that for a couple years.
