Deer Camp

Question for the Deer hunters here. Who does an annual Deer Camp ? I don't mean deer hunt from home or go to a piece of land to hunt for a day and return home for the night. Who goes to an actual traditional style deer camp every year where a group of hunters stay in a tent, cabin or RV for a period of time to hunt deer, maybe have a buck pole and share meals, stories and enjoy their favorite beverages ? Been doing it since the 80s in the UP starting with a tent camp and probably around 12 years ago, switched to an RV from the tent. Fifth wheel first then custom made enclosed car hauler to a pick up truck camper to recently this year a 21 tow behind Toy Hauler. Hoping this new camp will be my last deer camp lodge type. PU truck camper was my favorite of all for efficiency and convenience.

It's been a long time since I've done that (around 1988). We used to go every year to my buddy's cabin in Mio. Sure, the experience was fun, but I sure don't miss spending a week in a small cabin with 6 other guys snoring, farting, belching and stinking. Now I just go out behind my house or across the road from my house. Way more deer here and I'm back in my own house when I'm done hunting.
