Have you noticed any changes in the reliability of hollow-point defensive loads when exposed to low temperatures?

Cold can temper performance a bit but good hollow‑points still expand and feed reliably if they’re quality loads.

I haven't actually seen any real failures but it's clear the cold weather makes things feel a lot stiffer. So, whenever the temperatures really dip, I'll take a few magazines out, just to double-check that nothing's shifted.

Same here, no major issues but I always stay aware of it. Cold can change small things and those can really add up if you just ignore them.
