I practiced drawing from a chair, a car and a couch.

Everything I'd trained standing flat footed at the range stopped working the moment I sat down somewhere. The chair and the couch each needed their own adjustments, but the car was a different category entirely.

Which everyday position do you think would expose the biggest gap in your own draw if you actually tested it?

Drawing from a car seatbelt on is a whole different problem nobody really practices until they’re forced to.

The car is a good challenge and speaks volumes for the ease of appendix carry. One of my biggest concerns is when your arms are full carrying bags at the grocery store. How long would it take to recognize the threat, drop your bags and be able to address?
