I have a S&W M&P Shield in 40 S&W that I have had for a long time. As I get older I would like something milder to shoot. I was wondering if there are 9mm barrels available to swap with my 40 S&W if it is possible.

You might find a 9mm barrel, but it’s rare. Honestly, easier route is just grabbing a Shield in 9mm.

You usually can’t just swap barrels. Most conversions require a full 9mm slide assembly and 9mm magazines.
