Suppressor for 450 BM

My CVA Cascade in 450 BM in a Boyds laminated stock is quite heavy but still has a pretty good kick to it. I was wondering if a suppressor would help mitigate some of the recoil and approximately by how much.

A suppressor won’t take away recoil completely, but it usually makes the kick feel easier to handle. The extra weight on the front and how it slows down the blast can really make a difference.

Maybe try giving Mag-Na-Port in Harrison, Mi. a call and see what they say about adding one of their brakes to your CVA. Obviously not a suppressor and will probably add decibels to the report but my guess is that it would mitigate recoil better than a suppressor would. It wouldn't hurt to just give them a call and see what they say. I had one of their brakes on my .300 Weatherby Mag and it did cut the felt recoil by almost half although it did bark a bit louder with the brake on it.

It’ll soften the punch, not erase it..more push than snap
