R Reese Member Joined Sep 9, 2025 Messages 12 Mar 8, 2026 #2 For pistols that get used a lot, I'm a fan of nitriding. Slides and barrels that are treated this way just hold up. Cerakote looks cool for a few of my guns that don't get used a lot but on my often-used pistols, it wears off fast.
