Can anyone share their tick removal hacks?

I had a tick on my dog the other day, and I panicked a bit trying to get it off. Anyone got tips or methods that work for you?

I use a tick removal tool to pluck off the tick. Then clean the area with Isopropyl Alcohol then put a little Neosporin on the area where the tick was.

Use fine-tip tweezers to grab the tick close to the skin and pull straight out, no twisting. Dab the spot with rubbing alcohol and keep an eye on it for a week.

What I knew was that it is bad if you don't remove the head. You risk an infection out there.

Typically I just pull them off the animal by hand. Every one of them I've found were full of blood and easy to pull off. Cleaning that area with a peroxide or alcohol is advised. Never an issue. We have a Cat that gets them very often and same thing. Remove and clean area.
